Finished Polish Film School in Łódź . Her School short movie „The Wings” ran on 42 International festivals.
Her 30 minutes short „Non Stop Color” became a part of a 3 novel feature movie called „Demaquilage” which was released in Polish cinemas.
Debuted as a feature director in 2012 with „Women’s Day”, for which among others she won Best Screenplay Award at Koszalin Film Festival, Prix du Public” by Kinopolska Paryż Festival 2012, Grand Prix in Cottbus Film Festival. The Perspective award for Best Polish Debut and many others
Her second film „The art of loving - The story of Michalina Wislocka” has been a great success and number one in 2017 Polish Box Office (1,8 mln viewers). It was a first Polish movie shown on Netflix worldwide.
Her last feature “Girls To Buy” was number one in Polish box office in the whole two years of pandemic, beating American blockbusters like “Diuna”or “Gucci” .(1,2 mln viewers ) It was a great success, also honored by good reviews by many leading critics.
Recently she just finished a 13 episodes series “Max family “ for one of the biggest polish tv station Polsat.
Her latest movie called “The front page Love“ will be released in autumn 2022 in cinemas .
Maria Sadowska is also a popular Jazz and Funk singer and a jury member of a popular Tv music show „The Voice of Poland”. She released 13 albums - two of them has a gold status.
