Miscellaneous
Josephine Frydetzki studied directing at the "Konrad Wolf" Film University in Babelsberg. Her short films screened internationally at festivals such as the Berlinale and the Max Ophüls Award, and she received the First Steps Award for "Dígame". In 2024, the Leipzig-born director made her theatrical debut with the feature film "Days with Naadirah" ("Tage mit Naadirah"), shot in Halle and Leipzig. Alongside her independent work, she directs and writes various commissioned TV productions – including "Soko Leipzig" as well as the Christmas fairy tale "Princess of Glass" ("Prinzessin aus Glas") for MDR/ARD, which will premiere at the Schlingel Children's Film Festival in October 2026. She is currently preparing an independent horror film and working on a new season of Soko Leipzig.
