Kim Hagen Jensen, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, conceptualized, co-wrote, and directed DREAMBUILDERS (2020), a CICFF award-winning feature fi lm. Released in over 20 countries, it became the 14th highest-grossing Danish fi lm from 2000 to 2022.

Kim has also written, directed, and art-directed the cinematic trailer series for the game “MERGE GARDENS”, a collection of CG animated short fi lms bringing the game’s world to life. His work has signifi cantly expanded the Merge Gardens story-driven universe, with the series gaining a strong following on YouTube and going viral on TikTok with over 30 million views.

In 2021, Kim directed the 2D Christmas special short Little Frog (Lille Frø) winner of “Best Nordic Short Film”.
 

Before turning to directing, Kim worked extensively from the 1990s as a storyboard artist, character animator, and VFX animator on numerous feature fi lms.
